What's the basic line?

When she was 7, the time to go to school, her father, refused but when he meets Miss.Tunchbull, the principle of the school, he just lets her go to the school. When she got to the school, she founds out that Miss. Tunchbull is the worst principle ever!!! She meets her nice teacher and a nice friend  Violet. She did really well on everything, things even Miss.Honey didn't know!! Matilda finds out that she has pychic powers. Also then she founds out Miss. Honey's secret which is that Miss. Tunchbull is miss.Honey's aunt and Miss.Tunchbull took all Miss.Honey's belongings after her father died. She used her pychic powers to help Miss.Honey. She made the chalk fly and write to Miss. Tunchbull to give back Miss.Honey's house and belongings. So Miss.Tunchbull fainted. When Matilda's family was going to move to Spain, she got adapted by Miss.Honey.

Do you like it?
Yes, I liked it,because I can relate it to my life.First, she loved books and got scolded by her parents just because she was reading a book. But I love books and I got scolded because I read too much books. So I think I can feel how she felt. Also that's why I tried her pychic powers. I thought I could do it because we have so much things in common. One time, I thought I actually moved a pencil with my pychic powers, but I found out it moved because of the wind.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate this book?
I would rate this book 9. Author Roald Dahl did a great job relating it to life. And also he made me like this book even more. But he made a too much fantasy about the pychic powers. So it makes my eyes hurt because I practiced too much.

  1. I like this review and I find it funny that you actually tried to move something with your eyes; I think it is proof of how great a writer Dahl is. I guess you would probably claim the characters are believable as well, but you failed to answer that question altogether. The second question was whether the characters were believable or likeable, not if you liked the book.
